Join Theus Badenhorst for a warm, hands-on photography workshop at the lively Pretoria Boeremark evening market. This workshop is designed to be deep yet playful. A space where you will slow down, see the moment and practice real shooting techniques in a supportive environment.

Whether you are a hobbyist or a budding professional, Theus's approacheable teaching style and practical mentorship will help you gain confidence shooting in public and sharpen your eye for light, composition and story,

What we'll do: 

15:30 Meet and Greet: Course structure, objectives, market etiquette, introductions and a short overview of Theus's work and approach to photography.

Five focussed modules on location:

1. Candid moments (discreet) Learn to anticipate, frame and capture natural emotion without disturbing the scene.
2. Artistic compositions of inanimate objects, see every day market details with fresh eyes and craft striking still life compositions.
3. Animal shots: Capture dogs, ponies and other animals at the market with timing and patience.
4. Posed subjects: Practical approaches for vendors, couples, groups and individuals.Quick posing, direction and working with people.
5. Coffee and Critique: Grab something to drink as we sit down and rewied some images from each category, receive constructive feedback and practical tips for improvement.

Q and A and debrief to round off the session and discuss next steps for your learning or career.
